To mark our eighth event in partnership with Cocoon and the climax of our huge bank holiday weekend, System welcomes the mighty Sven Väth to the Mint Club!

Arguably the biggest name in techno today “Papa Sven”, as he is affectionately dubbed by press and fans alike, is responsible for bringing the underground to the masses through almost 30 years of unfaltering dedication and intuitive musical foresight. Although involved with several high-profile projects over the last three decades it was with the inception of his then fledgling Cocoon project in 1996 when Sven’s vision finally came into its own, forming a global platform for many equally talented artists—Ricardo Villalobos, Hardfloor, Frank Lorber, Anthony Rother and many more have all passed through the doors of Vath’s pioneering techno institution. Today Sven Väth and Cocoon continue to touch thousands of people across every continent with an inimitable brand of bleepy, emotive, percussive house and techno, holding regular events in nine countries, releasing hundreds of records and completing 10 seasons in Ibiza. Usually a headlining name at the biggest festivals in the world, such as Monegros, TimeWarp and May Day, Sven Väth will perform an exclusive set in the intimate setting of the Mint Club as part of his Sound of the 10th Season Tour.
